I found the GIIT to be useful. If you already have a tool like it, it could work, but plastic is the way to go over metal for sun-baked seals.
This is a handy little tool, but if you already have a kit of plastic pry tools for trim, it's probably redundant.
I was expecting a softer material
Hello AJ,
Thank you for the feedback. I simply wanted to clarify why this part is rigid and why it wouldn't work as well if it was more flexible. It needs to be rigid enough to act as a lever on the gap filler during the install - If this tool was made from something more flexible, it wouldn't work as well.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
After ordering, it was shiped to Europe, and I had to pay Cumstom Duty.
So when you order, the extra price for shipping is not the total price, you get after the order a present; import duty
Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry the customs charges were an unexpected cost.
Import duties are determined and collected by your country's customs authority, not by the seller, which is why they aren't included at checkout. A notice about this is included on the product page. As a small Canadian business shipping worldwide, pre-collecting duties for every country isn't feasible without significantly increasing costs for all customers.
I reached out via email to address your concerns but haven't heard back. If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to get in touch—I'm happy to help.
Practical to be used.
